Design cabinsβ
Our pickA tight, stylish Pacific Northwest loop for 2 adults + 2 kids β glacier peaks, waterfall canyons, high-desert rivers, and design cabins, treehouses & spa-hotels the whole way. No long driving days.
The clear vision β one design-forward, Instagram-active pick per stop (no chain, no dated, no "seniors" energy). Build the days around these three. β marks them on the map's Places to stay layer and on the cards below.

No more long days. Dropping Crater Lake fixed the one weak leg β every drive is now ~3ΒΌ hours or less. Mount St. Helens is an easy day-trip from Rainier, and the final Bend β PDX leg rolls right over the Mt Hood Scenic Byway past Trillium Lake. Lots of slack to add a night or two if you want.
Paradise wildflowers peak in early August and waterfalls are everywhere. Use it as a base to also day-trip the blown-out crater of Mount St. Helens β two volcanoes for the price of one.
